At their most unhealthy, 2s can victimise themselves so that others feel obligated to take care of them. Some unhealthy 2s become overbearing, whereas others may become vindictive by completely disconnecting from others. 2s feel entitled to different things because they feel they deserve it as they have done so much for others. Since 2s often do a lot for others, they want to feel appreciated, so when their actions are not recognised, they may lash out. Unhealthy 2s can become less considerate and sensitive to the feelings of others, instead being more focused on their tasks or goals. 2s become more domineering and aggressive in their personal relationships. A 2’s direction of disintegration is 8, meaning under stress 2s begin to look like unhealthy 8s. 2s are generally people-pleasers and have a strong desire to care for the people around them. Path of Disintegration to 8: At the average to healthy levels, 2s are warm, caring and friendly. At their most unhealthy, they can exhibit depressive tendencies. Additionally, they may start rebelling against being ‘good’ and dependable because they feel their hard work is not recognised by others. 1s may become more obsessed with imposing their ideals on others as they may feel like they alone know the right way to act. 1s can also become more critical of their mistakes and withdraw from others. 1s become more overwhelmed by their emotions and less practical. A 1’s direction of disintegration is 4, meaning under stress 1s begin to look more like unhealthy 4s. Healthy 1s are also very responsible and driven in their quest for goodness.
